Curtis Librarians Pamela Bobker and Hazel Onsrud, and Volunteer Coordinator Rachel Kobasa recently represented Curtis Memorial Library at the Maine Library Association's Annual Conference at Sunday River. The conference was an opportunity for them to bring back new ideas but also to showcase all the wonderful things happening here at Curtis. Hazel presented on a variety of topics including the Sustainable Libraries Initiative (where she serves as an Advisory Board Member), supporting multiculturalism in Maine libraries, collaborative programming, and the Library of Things. Pam and Rachel spoke about Curtis' strong volunteer program and Curtis Friends. Special thanks to Curtis Friends for supporting professional development opportunities like this for Curtis staff.
