It’s Thankful Thursday and today we celebrate the incredible legacy of Dr. Mary Obear, who will retire from Oak Orchard Health at the end of this month after an astounding career serving our community. Dr. Obear has also been a vital part of Crossroads House since nearly the beginning, serving as our Medical Advisor for 27 of our 28 years. Her guidance, compassion, and unwavering dedication to dignified end-of-life care have helped shape our mission and support countless residents and families. While we congratulate her on her well-earned retirement, we are overjoyed to share that Dr. Obear has agreed to continue to serve on the Crossroads House Board of Directors. Her wisdom and heart for our mission will remain a guiding force as we move forward. Thank you, Dr. Obear, for being a steady hand, a kind soul, and a true advocate for compassionate care. (fb)
