Both the individual artist and our communities are vital partners with us. The artist creates new models and impacts our communities. Our communities generate creative conversations within our space and elsewhere about our production.

Franklin Street Works is one of sixteen organizations in Connecticut to be awarded the grant for 2020 programming. The first 2019 ARTEaccessible grant provided funds for Franklin Street Works to give Spanishlanguage tours and verbal description tours to caption video documentation of educational programs to translate exhibition interpretive texts and community outreach flyers into Spanish to open the galleries for more group tours and to develop an Accessibility Statement for our current exhibition Otherwise Obscured Erasure in Body and Text which is curated by Danilo Machado and on view through January 26.
