The South County History Center's mission is to lead the discovery and stewardship of South County’s The mission of the Center is to lead the discovery and stewardship of South County's unique historic resources through meaningful and enriching learning opportunities.The vision of the Center is to be a welcoming, accessible, professional cultural organization, providing impactful engagement and leadership in Washington County, Rhode Island. We will be responsible stewards of historic collections, provide strong advocacy for preservation, be a leading resource and producer of research, deliver meaningful programming that generates vibrant discussion, and develop partnerships throughout our region.
