Guided by the principles of antidisplacement and racial justice SFCLT stabilizes neighborhoods and creates greater access to housing and homeownership opportunities with a focus on BIPOC communities previously excluded from access to wealth and in particular access to homeownership opportunities. We achieve our mission by acquiring small apartment buildings and helping tenants form housing cooperatives through which they share ownership of the building while SFCLT maintains ownership of the land to ensure permanent affordability.
