🌟 Celebrating Elizabeth Dekker: Artist, Gallery Owner, and Community Leader 🌟 We’re thrilled to spotlight SFCLT resident Elizabeth Dekker, a talented artist and the proud owner of Arthaus SF, recently named one of the best art galleries in the Bay Area by SFGate! Elizabeth’s work as an artist and gallery owner is not just about creating stunning pieces of art – it’s about building community. With a background in both art and architecture, Elizabeth infuses her passion for creative expression into everything she does. She offers classes and workshops designed to inspire others to unlock their own artistic potential, from painting and drawing to creative collaborations. At the San Francisco Community Land Trust, we are honored to support Elizabeth in her journey. By providing affordable housing, we help make it possible for artists like her to thrive, create, and contribute to the culture of San Francisco. Here's to Elizabeth, her artistic contributions, and the thriving creative community she helps foster! It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Francisco Galindo, a beloved leader and advocate in our SFCLT community. Francisco was a driving force in the tenant movement and played a pivotal role in organizing and laying the groundwork for SFCLT’s most recent acquisition at 14th Street in the Mission. His dedication, passion, and unwavering support for our community will never be forgotten. Francisco’s impact was immeasurable, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. As we mourn his loss, we invite you to join SFCLT in supporting his loved ones during this difficult time. If you are able, please consider donating to help ensure that Francisco is given a dignified farewell. (fb)

Welcome tothe San FranciscoCommunity Land Trust The San Francisco Community Land Trust SFCLT is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create permanently affordable housing for lowtomoderateincome people through community ownership of the land. Guided by the principles of antidisplacement and racial justice SFCLT stabilizes neighborhoods and creates greater access to housing and homeownership opportunities with a focus on BIPOC communities previously excluded from access to wealth and in particular access to homeownership opportunities. We achieve our mission by acquiring small apartment buildings and helping tenants form housing cooperatives through which they share ownership of the building while SFCLT maintains ownership of the land to ensure permanent affordability.
