New Canaan Cares, Inc.
New Canaan CARES is an independent, non-profit community organization whose purpose is to advance the health and well-being of youth and families. Founded in 1983, New Canaan CARES has offered community and school programs designed to reduce the incidence of substance abuse and to promote community wellness. CARES believes that alcohol, tobacco and other drug dependence is a progressive, addictive illness that can destroy personal, family and social relationships. We provide parents with tools to promote healthy family lifestyles and to deal effectively with issues affecting children and adolescents. We encourage community awareness and education and offer all programs free of charge.
