Akamaru was born into our rescue and had a beagle-y Mom. Due to no fault of his, the family that adopted Akamaru had to return him to us. He is currently residing with a sibling whose family was kind enough to foster him. Here is what they say about him: Akamaru gets along great with other dogs, he does better with 1-2 dogs at a time. More than that is not ideal, I’ve taken him to a dog park once and he almost got into fights so I haven’t tried again. But, whenever we have play dates, he does well, and he gets along great with my dog Astro. I haven’t seen him around kids or cats, but he is well with other humans. Sounds like he gets nervous with lots of dogs, same as some of our beagles! Akamaru is still young at just over 3 years old and would love to meet his forever family.
