Operation Help the Children

Our mission and goal is to financially assist, and support the needs of as many Romanian orphanages as we possible can. We need to make the orphanages in Romania more livable by supporting them financially; to aid with badly needed repairs, remodeling, replacing the old furniture with new, new carpeting (which often they do not have), new cribs, modernized kitchen equipment, and other valuable necessities that they cannot afford, and are not funded for. We feel that helping an Orphanage to be repaired and making the place more home-like, will help orphans to grow up healthier, and happier in a warm, pleasant and more secure environment. We believe that this is very important for a child who is growing up in orphanage. OHTC is completely run by Volunteers. Our goal and objectives are to help support the orphanages, children's hospitals, and street children in Romania. Although we cannot help everywhere in Romania, we concentrate our effort in the areas that really need all the help we can give.
