Since its founding in 2000, by Venerable Thupten Donyo, the Gyuto Foundation has been dedicated to preserving and promoting Tibet's living cultural and spiritual heritage. Gyuto Foundation is a branch location of Gyuto Monastery. THE GYUTO FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO THE PRESERVATION OF TIBET'S LIVING CULTURAL AND SPIRITUAL HERITAGE IN THE SPIRIT OF THE VISION OF HIS HOLINESS THE 14TH DALAI LAMA. THE FOUNDATION FOCUSES ON THE TIBETAN COMMUNITIES IN NORTH AMERICA, ESPECIALLY ON CALIFORNIA'S LARGEST TIBETAN EXILE COMMUNITY IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS ACTIVITIES DEDICATED TO THE PRESERVATION AND PROMOTION OF TIBETAN CULTURE THROUGH TEACHINGS, EXCHANGINGS, EXHIBITIONS, SYMPOSIA AND CULTURAL RESEARCH. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SPONSORS REFUGEES, CHILDRENS EDUCATION, COMMUNITY EVENTS THROUGH THE CENTER SUCH AS FREE MEDITATION CLASSES, FREE TEACHINGS, INTERFAITH DIALOGUE AND LOCAL COLLEGE STUDENTS RESEARCH.

Welcome to theGyuto Foundation 25th Anniversary Celebration It is with great pleasure that Gyuto Foundation announces its 25th Anniversary Celebration on April 56 2025. In celebration we invite you to join us on Saturday April 5 from 1000 AM to 200 PM for a documentary film screening words from Gyuto Foundations old friends and a peace walk through the monastery gardens and again Sunday April 6 from 1000 AM to 1200 PM for a Long Life Initiation by Venerable Gosok Rinpoche. The Gyuto Foundation a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located in East Richmond Heights California is a charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of Tibets living cultural and spiritual heritage. The Foundation supports activities dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Tibetan culture through teaching hosting local University students interfaith dialogues and cultural programs.
