Arts for Lawrence (AFL) connects arts and community to inspire everyone every day. AFL supports programming in visual, performing and literary arts. Arts for Lawrence is a champion for the arts in Lawrence to improve business, education and quality Arts for Lawrence (AFL) connects arts and community to inspire everyone every day. Founded in 2006, AFL is the largest nonprofit arts organization in Lawrence and the northeast quadrant of Indianapolis. It offers a diverse blend of affordable quality art programs at the Theater at the Fort, the Visual Art Center, and the Fort Ben Cultural Campus. Programs include festivals, theater performances, outdoor concert series, art classes, art exhibitions, poetry readings, and more. Many of these events are free to the public.
