For more than seven decades, the UIA has been celebrating the arts, culture and heritage of Ukraine at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 79th Street in NYC - Where the World Meets Ukraine. TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE CULTURAL EVENTS, SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES SHOWCASING UKRAINIAN ART, CULTURE AND HISTORY TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

It serves both as a center for the UkrainianAmerican community and as Americas Window on Ukraine hosting art exhibits concerts film screenings poetry readings literary evenings childrens programs lectures symposia and full educational programs all open to the public.
