Could this what Columbus Park looks like in the future? 🤔 🌳 We recently hosted 'Columbus Park Reimagined: A Community-Driven Mission,' a special event that brought the community together to explore an exciting new vision for one of Brooklyn’s most important public spaces. 🏛️ Held in the Rotunda of Brooklyn Borough Hall overlooking the park, DBP President Regina Myer introduced Claire Weisz from WXYStudio and Michael van Valkenburgh, who presented a proposed redesign for Columbus Park. Attendees viewed a model of the plan, heard from park champions, voted on design elements, and shared feedback about the future of this vital green space. 💬 Borough President Antonio Reynoso and Councilmember Lincoln Restler, both of whom have been key champions in this effort, also shared their visions for a space that serves all of Brooklyn.
