It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Coach Jeff Trundy. His tenure with the Cape League began in 1995, initially as an assistant coach with Cotuit and then as head coach with Falmouth in 1999. In 2023, Coach Trundy achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing the 500-win mark. Recognized for his exceptional coaching abilities, he was honored with the Mike Curran Manager of the Year Award in 2004, 2016, 2019, and 2024. His legacy was immortalized when he entered the Cape League Hall of Fame one month ago. Known throughout the league and beyond as “Gentleman Jeff,” he consistently demonstrated the principles of coaching and mentorship, while providing an exceptional experience for his players.
