The mission of Project Safety Net NY is to promote health, safety and achievement for members of all communities across Longs Island and Queens. We focus in particular on communities of color, the LGBTQ community, people struggling with chronic health conditions, and youth at risk for bullying, violence and academic failure.

Project Safety Net NY | Outreach, Prevention, Intervention - projectsafetynet Prevention Intervention Recovery Project Safety Net NY is a 501c3 notforprofit communitybased agency delivering behavioral health care navigation and support services to Long Islanders who need them most. We offer integrated screenings for sexual health mental health and substance use disorder to address cooccurring risk in our most vulnerable residents. Our Mission is Mobile Social determinants prescribe our mission to promote health safety and achievement for underrepresented highrisk communities on Long Island. Successful interventions require broad outreach and a multidisciplinary approach to prevention and care coordination.
