WCR WCR pull together Whaling City Rowing Learn More Preserving the traditions of New Bedfords maritime past while encouraging an appreciation for the areas modernday maritime beauty. No rowing experience is required to become a WCR member. Our membership is made up of a diverse group ranging in age from young adults to retirees with rowers at all levels of skill. What we all have in common is a love of rowing and being on the water.
