THE PURPOSE OF THE WEST SENECA GIRLS SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE, DEVELOP, SUPERVISE, AND VOLUNTARILY ASSIST IN A GIRLS SOFTBALL PROGRAM, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN THROUGH AGE 18 WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND GROW THROUGH TEAM SPORTS. THE WSGSA IS DEDICATED TO HELPING YOUTHS BECOME GOOD CITIZENSAND PROVIDING AN OUTLET OF HEALTHFUL ACTIVITY AND TRAINING UNDER GOOD LEADERSHIP IN AN ATMOSPHERE OF WHOLESOME COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION. THE PLAYERS ARE PROVIDED AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN THE GAME OF SOFTBALL WHILE ALSO LEARNING ABOUT, AND EXPERIMENTING WITH, WORKING AS A MEMBER OF A TEAM.
