THE UNITED JEWISH COUNCIL'S MISSION_IS TO _PRESERVE THE LOWER EAST SIDE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SERVICES AND PROGRAMS, MANY OF WHICH ARE GEARED TOWARDS THE ELDERLY.

Our mission focuses on the many older adults and members of marginalized communities in the Lower East Side of Manhattan who lack families or a support network to rely on especially as they age. For over 50 years UJCES has been working to fill this gap by offering comprehensive services under one roof including home care services food assistance programs social services and older adult centers through our various dedicated entities.
