The Bangor Band Sponsored by Bangor Parks Recreation UMaine School of Performing Arts Welcome to the Bangor Band Welcome to the online home of the Bangor Band. 2024 marks our 165th Birthday making us one of the oldest continuous community bands in the United States. We have been performing concerts at various venues throughout the greater Bangor area since our inaugural season in 1859 and are proud of our musical tradition in serving countless generations of Bangorians for the past 165 years. As 2024 comes to a close the conductors and musicians of the Bangor Band would like to sincerely thank you our audience and local businesses for your support throughout the year.
