🚚 This National Moving Month, we want to give a big shout out to our Housing First and Safe Options Support (SOS) teams. 🏡 Moving can be tough — but for many in our community, it’s a life-changing step toward stability, safety, and self-sufficiency. HONOR’s Housing First team provides immediate access to housing for chronically homeless individuals in the Hudson Valley. With rental assistance, case management, peer support, and access to essentials like food and financial help, this team makes sure no one has to choose between shelter and survival. At the same time, our SOS team is out in the community, working with those experiencing street homelessness — many of whom are also living with mental illness — helping connect them to housing, support services, and care.
