Per the Cerebral Palsy Foundation - since 2006, March 25th has been designated as National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day. This day was created as a national awareness day to focus on the lack of research and progress in the treatment of Cerebral Palsy despite CP being the most common lifelong motor disability. Here are 5 ways to participate on National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day: * Wear green: The official color of the cerebral palsy awareness ribbon, it symbolizes growth and resilience. *Use #GoGreen4CP on social media: Share facts, stories, and advocacy efforts to spread awareness. *Support CP-focused organizations, like Able2!: Donate or volunteer to help fund research, assistive technology, and community programs. https://able-2.org/donate/ *Advocate for accessibility: Encourage local businesses, schools, and workplaces to improve accessibility for individuals with CP. *Educate others: Share information about what causes CP and the importance of early intervention and lifelong care. #Able2 #GoGreen4CP (fb)

Able2 participated in the March 19, 2025 Public Health Emergency Response Exercise at Elmira College. This drill involved the distribution of medical countermeasures in response to a meningococcal outbreak on the Elmira College campus and in the greater community Elmira College thanked both organizations for participating and stated in an acknowledgement letter: “Your staff and supported persons, assisted our senior nursing students in learning how to best serve those with access and functional needs not just during the exercise but in their future clinical practice as well. The energy and enthusiasm they provided was deeply appreciated.” #ilovemycommunity #ABLE2 #BeGreat (fb)
