A strong, healthy start creates a lifetime of opportunities. Our work ensures babies are born healthy and are supported through their most formative years of development. Last year, 90% of babies served by grantees are fully immunized by age one, compared to 61% of children from a similar socioeconomic background nationally. Plus, for grantees serving primarily Black clients, 94% were born full-term compared to 88% of Black babies born in the Bay Area. What was San Francisco's original name? 🧐 We put our community's Bay Area knowledge to the test at our Tipping Point Trivia Night! From local sports legends to the iconic startups from the region, the teams battled it out to see who knows Bay Area the best 💥 All proceeds from the night go directly to fighting poverty. Thank you to our teams for showing up and showing out, and to our partners at Cotopaxi for the awesome prize package! P.s. San Francisco was originally named Yerba Buena 🌁 (fb)
