The Internet Archive offers snapshots of the AAVSO website across almost three decades. In 1997, the home page consisted of a logo, a block of text, and a list of links. The site evolved to include color, shapes, typographical styles, and images. The one here, captured on May 20, 2000, reflects this progression. Next month, our website will undergo its latest transformation. A website relaunch is a complicated undertaking, with lots of work going on behind the scenes.
