PFLAG New Hampshire began in 1986 as the first chapter in the state, founded by a group of parents of gay children who met in Manchester. Over the years, additional chapters were established, including one on the Seacoast in 1992. Despite initial concerns about the impact on the original chapter in Concord, it continued to thrive and remains the most well-attended chapter today[1].
