Foster-based dog rescue in northeast Kentucky. star@stardogrescue.org The primary mission of this organization is to:  Build a “no-kill" animal shelter Aid in the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and abandoned animals Help stop the over population of animals Provide humane care and treatment for all animals needing protection Return lost animals to their owners Seek suitable homes for animals without owners  Provide euthanasia when it is deemed necessary as a humane means to end an animal's suffering
