Founded in 1908 and formerly known as the Olmsted Center for Sight, VIA’s mission is to help the blind and visually impaired to achieve their highest level of independence. Our vision is to be recognized as a Center for Excellence for blind and visually impaired children and adults by promoting independence, empowerment, inclusion, and hope.
