WAAAM stands for the Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum. We have over 325 airplanes, auto The Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum collects, restores, preserves and exhibits airplanes from the Dawn of Flight through the Golden Age of Flight and civilian and military automobiles of the Vintage and Classic Eras of the 20th century. As a living museum, we maintain the collection in operating condition and, from time to time, demonstrate its operation. Visitors can “step back in time” to learn and to enjoy the history and technology of transportation. The museum’s place in the Hood River community is affirmed by promoting Hood River as a destination, by providing educational opportunities and by making our facilities available to the community.
