This morning, a great group of Kern County Veterans came together for our monthly Coffee Connect – Veteran Edition at Adventure Awaits Coffee Shop. Huge shoutout to Hector, a fellow Veteran and the owner, for reserving the entire second floor just for us. It gave us the perfect space to share stories, work on some self-awareness exercises, and simply relax in a comfortable, safe environment. The coffee was hot, the food was amazing, and the vibe couldn’t have been better! BIG thanks to Operation Second Chance for making this happen and providing us with another amazing meet-up!
