Our mission is to manage, market, and maintain the Downtown Rutland Special Benefits District and advance activities that help improve the vitality of the business community and enhance the cultural and physical climate of the district. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works with the City of Rutland to organize events, marketing, business development, and streetscape initiatives for the designated downtown of Rutland, Vermont. We are made up of a small staff, a committed board of directors, and several enthusiastic committees.

Downtown Rutland Welcome to Downtown Rutland Historic Downtown Rutland Vermont is home to dozens of shops restaurants and experiences. Visit one of our many unique small businesses and tour our beautiful murals as you make your way to one of our downtown destinations. Stop by our expansive outdoor farmers market located in Depot Park on Saturdays for locally produced foods and goods. Grab a bite and maybe a local brew in one of many independently owned local restaurants before taking in a show at the brilliantly restored 1912 Paramount Theatre.
