The Heights Players community is saddened to learn of the death of longtime member Raymond O. Wagner, which occurred earlier this month. Ray's Heights credits include No Sex Please, We're British, Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, Rumors, And Then There Were None, A Christmas Carol, The Hollow, Verdict, Twentieth Century, Dracula, Hamlet, Show Boat, Death of a Salesman, The Skin of Our Teeth, All the King's Men, and A Man for All Seasons. He was an active member as both actor and director with the Paper Moon Players in Sheepshead Bay, Wings Theatre Co., and the Hudson Guild Theater. He also published his own adaptation of Bram Stoker, the three act "Dracula — Minister of Satan." Heights patrons will remember Ray's constant presence as an usher on closing Sunday performances. A consummate "man in black," his impeccable dress was balanced by his warmth and dry sense of humor. Ray will be missed by all who knew him. (fb)

Hirson Directed by Hilary Goldman Monday, June 23rd at 7pm-10pm Tuesday, June 24th at 7pm-10pm Callbacks: Wednesday/Thursday, June 25 & 26 Sign ups will begin at 6:15pm and you do not need to attend both nights of auditions.​ Audition Requirements: Please bring a headshot and resume and prepare 32 bars of a musical theater song that best fits and showcases your range. An accompanist will be provided. Please be prepared to dance. We will also be looking to cast Understudies and Swings. All roles are open to actors of all ages, gender identities, races, as we are looking to build an inclusive and collaborative production.
