We were honored to welcome Commissioner Willow Baer from the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities to QSAC on Wednesday, May 28th! Commissioner Baer was joined by Rachel Baker (OPWDD Chief Strategy Officer), James Doherty (Region 4 Director), and Dr. Hirah Muir (Chief Diversity Officer). During their visit to QSAC’s Manhattan day program, the Commissioner met with program participants, Yvette Watts (Chairperson of QSAC’s Board of Directors), and members of QSAC’s leadership team, including Lisa Veglia (CEO), Cory Polshansky (President & COO), Lauren Maldonado (Senior Director of Day Services), and Joseph Amodeo (Director of Career Development and Communications).
