Magnificat Institute of Sacred Music SACRED MUSIC the CATHOLIC CHURCH AN AWAKENING For the Renewal of Sacred Music We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the renewal of sacred liturgical music in the Catholic Church. We aspire to help parishes and communities of humble means as well as those with an abundance of resources to develop liturgical music programs which have integrity depth and beauty. Without deep roots in our patrimony liturgical music loses its integrity obscuring the gracefilled dignity of the Mass as given to us by Christ and his Church. But without the kind of organic holy growth which has been an earmark of Catholic sacred music throughout its long history our music risks becoming stagnant and inaccessible to many of those whom we are called to serve.
