Opening Minds Enriching Lives Transforming Communities Doing Art Together Inc. DAT a nonprofit arts education organization has provided awardwinning handson artsbased curricula to more than 100000 children in New York Citys public schools and alternative education sites since its founding in 1982. Our teachers all practicing artists lead workshops throughout the five boroughs for children and youth who range in age from two to twentytwo years. With our partner schools we organize student exhibitions conduct teacher training programs and schedule workshops in which parents participate with their children.
