Please join us this Friday at 5PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Southold to celebrate the dedication and the raising of the progress pride flag on the National Day of Silence. The National Day of Silence was started in the mid ‘90s by two college students and is now a nationally recognized demonstration for LGBTQIA+ students and their allies to protest harassment and discrimination in schools, from university level to elementary. You may not be able to remain silent all day, but you can also use this as a day towards advocacy and to raise awareness of these struggles. (fb)
