I love coincidences or maybe just meetings that were meant to be .... As I was feeling miserable with a blood sugar off the charts (due to an occlusion and a CGM that fell asleep on the job), I met Nevine at my local UPS. She heard my CGM beeping wildly that I was high (making up for lost time, I guess) and we got talking about T1D. Turns out Nevine's best friend has T1D, saw The Human Trial, and would like to now participate in a clinical trial. So that, my friends, is the highlight of my week.
