Who We Are Our History of Giving Our History of Giving Nanas Gift was founded by The Sgro Family in 1999 with a mission to provide underserved children in Northern New Jersey with gifts during the holiday season. Our History of Giving Our History of Giving Our History of Giving In our first year we worked with a women and childrens shelter in Newark New Jersey providing gifts to 25 children. Since then we have expanded our reach to serving thousands of children across over a halfdozen organizations.
