Today's chapel was a very special time of worship and prayer. Students were blessed to hear from some parents who have a passion to pray for Valor students and staff. Two parents, as well as Mr. Tige Watson, head of Student Life, spoke words of life into the students and prayed over them as they enter the last few weeks of school. Welcome Mrs. Callie Harper to the spotlight! Mrs. Harper is Valor's Sports Medicine Coordinator and Athletic Trainer at Valor. She has worked at Valor for 5.5 years. Prior to Valor, Mrs. Harper worked at private high schools and junior colleges, gaining clinical experience. After that, she went to work for a cheer and dance company as the athletic trainer covering competitions and camps. She always had a passion for working with teenagers. Mrs. Harper came to Valor after feeling the Lord was calling her to work with high school athletes in a Christian environment. She loves that she can walk through life with these students while they are figuring out who God created them to be. She enjoys combining her talent for medicine and her faith at Valor. (fb)
