Sharing Our Roots We work at the intersection of land justice food security and conservation. Acres of Innovation Sharing Our Roots envisions a world where food and agriculture systems are profitable for farmers fair to workers beneficial to consumer health restorative for rural communities and regenerative for the environment. Commons Cohort We provide longterm land access agreements for a cohort of farmers who organize themselves through shared community norms. Community Connectors We support 145 local families growing healthy culturallysignificant food in 7 community gardens in Northfield Faribault.

There’s one week left to shop at Just Food Co-op in support of Sharing Our Roots. We’re grateful to be the co-op’s featured nonprofit this September, so when you round up at the register, your extra change will go toward our work to create a more just local food system. It may be just a few cents to you, but it means a lot to our 30+ emerging farmers, 125+ community gardeners, and the land restoration team at our 163-acre farm.
