Unstoppable! This crew of volunteers from the Mamaroneck National Honor Society put in the work and nature and wildlife benefit. Yesterday, they filled 6 wheelbarrows by removing 8 invasive species from our park - knotweed, mugwort, multiflora rose, Himalayan blackberry, wineberry, porcelainberry, honeysuckle and wisteria - these harmful plants are easy to identify right now in early spring. The students also cut strangling vines off of a large native black walnut tree.
