GREATER CHICAGO CAVALIER RESCUE
Since 2005, the Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue (GCCR) has helped save, nurture, and re-home hundreds of dogs. An all-volunteer organization, we work together with animal control officers, shelters, humane societies and other rescue groups as well as Cavalier owners and breeders to provide significant financial, physical and emotional support to Cavaliers and their families. Our mission and goals are simple: to help insure the health and security of abused, abandoned and otherwise endangered Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. This we accomplish through 1) rehabilitation of Cavaliers from shelters and similar situations and placing them into loving forever homes, 2) assisting breeders and owners in finding new homes for their Cavaliers, and 3) mentoring Cavalier owners who need assistance in caring for their dogs. We are a rescue organization.
