We teach kids to think clearly and write with clarity. Teaching kids to think clearly and write with clarity. Mighty Writers teaches kids 3-17 throughout Philadelphia, Chester County and New Jersey to think clearly and write with clarity through free high-quality programs that improve academic performance, address educational inequities and build social-emotional skills. We focus on amplifying the voices of our students while providing free high-quality, community-oriented writing programs. As a result, grades improve, self-esteem soars and futures come into view. Our approach is focused on the whole child. We offer free distribution of food, diapers, books, school supplies and other essential resources in the communities we serve. Ultimately, we want our students to be critical thinkers and clear communicators who reflect our three core values: resilience, respect and optimism.

Mighty Writers • We Teach Kids to Think Clearly and Write with Clarity We Are Mighty Writers Each year at Mighty Writers we teach more than 4500 kids to think clearly and write with clarity so they can achieve success. We host writing workshops in Greater Philadelphia New Jersey and Texas. Since 2020 weve been distributing groceries and other essentials to families in our communities. Mighty Writers a 501c3 nonprofit was founded in 2009.
