It’s Requalification Weekend for our Railway Operations volunteers this weekend. 40 crew members are here today and 25 will be here tomorrow. Welcome back Railway Ops! We’re looking forward to a fantastic 86th year. (fb)

Seashore Nation! We have a question for those with electric vehicles that we'd love your feedback about. As part of our new Model Railroad Building project, we installed the infrastructure for two electric vehicle charging stations. We've been trying to decide if we want to start with one charging station to see how popular it is before investing in the second, or, if going in we have a sense that this will be a popular amenity, we'll just install both stations now. One charging might be enough. We're definitely installing one this season. It will be a paid experience (we're a nonprofit) :) What are your thoughts--would you use a charging station during a Seashore visit? How often to you visit us? When you go other places, how long of a visit does it need to be before you would plug your car in to charge it at their station? How much do other businesses charge for the use of their station? Thank you for weighing in! Photo by Mike Gagnon (fb)
