If you take a ride on Connecticut 1160 this weekend you will see this freshly polished brass by year-round volunteer Rich Coots. Yes, we love patina but that’s not how the trolleys looked when they operated; the brass was shiny and new, and that’s how it looks again, thanks to Rich. When he’s finished polishing all of the brass on 1160, he’ll move on to our other fleet cars next.
