Taia Peace, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2007, works to assist rural Sierra Leonean communities in overcoming the resource curse. THE TAIA PEACE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO ASSIST AND PARTNER WITH LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN SUSTAINABLE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, INCLUDING INFRASTRUCTURE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON FOOD SECURITY AND INCREASING COMMERCIAL CROP (CACAO AND COFFEE) PRODUCTIVITY.
