Art Connection In The Capital Region

Follow Message Edit

ACCR is a nonprofit that works in partnership with artists/collectors and community nonprofits in DC and Baltimore to expand access to original art, contributing to the creation of public spaces that stimulate dialogue, creativity, and healing. ACCR works to enrich lives by providing access to visual art in underserved communities throughout the Greater Metropolitan Washington D.C. area. Our mission is achieved through the facilitation of an innovative art donation and placement program that permanently gifts small collections of original artwork to qualifying nonprofits. The artwork, which is generously donated by artists and collectors, is displayed within the public areas of an agency and contributes to the creation of nurturing environments, where the individuals, families, and children who utilize the services of these agencies can experience the transformative effects of art in their daily lives.
