HandCrafting Justice’s mission is to promote human dignity and justice by creating opportunities for economic and social transformation. We work in cooperation with women struggling for economic justice and independence in the developing world, and support and assist them in their efforts to create employment for themselves in order to provide for their families and better their lives. We do this by marketing items they make, raising consciousness of the situations in which they live, telling their stories, creating opportunities for women and men in the US to get involved, and creating networks of justice and solidarity in search of sustainable economic options for those in the developing world.
