On Saturday, April 5, the Southampton Hospital Foundation, Southampton Hospital Association and Stony Brook Medicine hosted a ceremonial ribbon-cutting to honor all those whose donations and efforts contributed to the building of the Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department, which will open later this spring. This facility will provide access to emergency care for residents and visitors of East Hampton, Montauk, Amagansett, Springs, and Sag Harbor. We are grateful to the support of our donors for making this project possible and look forward to welcoming the community when the doors officially open. This state-of-the-art facility will be operated by an experienced staff of Stony Brook Medicine emergency professionals and demonstrate Stony Brook’s commitment to expanding access to high-quality healthcare throughout the East End, ensuring a healthier future for our community, today.
