About The Crested Butte Fire EMS Association Volunteer Squad The Crested Butte Fire EMS Association Volunteer Squad are made up of Volunteer Firefighters EMTs as well as staff members who generously dedicate their time efforts and expertise to the Crested Butte Fire Protection District CBFPD. The Volunteer Squad is part of the Crested Butte Fire EMS Association which is a 501c3 NonProfit organization. As a Volunteer SquadAssociation we raise funds throughout the year for our Fallen Firefighter Fund which was established to assist members andor their families in a time of injury or illness.
