YBRA YELLOWSTONEBIGHORN RESEARCHASSOCIATION OUR STORY About the YBRA The Yellowstone Bighorn Research Association YBRA has a long history of facilitating geoscience education in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Set on the slopes of Mount Maurice above Red Lodge Montana at 6800 ft the YBRA camp is at the base of the Beartooth Mountains where a breathtaking 69 mile stretch of the Beartooth Highway US Route 212 seasonally connects Red Lodge to Cooke City Montana and the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park. The YBRA is a nonprofit organization that serves as a base camp for field course operations for colleges universities and institutes. The YBRA sponsors professional and communitycentered field trips and workshops.
