Since 2001, Wareham Land Trust has doubled the amount of land protected in Wareham over the past century, and provides educational outings and programs in our community. Please help us continue to preserve our community by becoming a member today! The Wareham Land Trust was established to preserve open space through the donation of land and funds to purchase lands; work with landowners to acquire conservation easements that limit development; unite citizens, organizations and government entities in our shared goals of conservation and responsible land use for the benefit of present and future generations; and educate the public about the environmental and economic benefits of conserving open space, and the need for sustainable development and growth management.
