Furkids, Inc.

Furkids, Inc. is a nonprofit charitable organization headquartered in Georgia. It is dedicated to rescuing homeless animals, primarily cats and some dogs, providing them with comprehensive medical care, and finding them permanent homes. As a 501(c)(3) organization, donations to Furkids are tax deductible.

Mission

Operations

Furkids operates the largest cage-free, no-kill animal shelter in the Southeast, which includes facilities for rescued cats and a separate shelter named Sadie’s Place for dogs. Additionally, it maintains FIV positive cat facilities, making it one of the few organizations in the region to do so.

Furkids collaborates with PetSmart and Petco stores to facilitate adoptions through several retail adoption centers. The organization also relies on a network of over 600 foster homes to care for animals awaiting adoption.

It also operates multiple thrift stores, which help fund its activities.
