THE COALITION STRIVES TO PROTECT AND IMPROVE THE WATERS OF NYC'S CROTON WATERSHED, A CRITICAL COMPONENT OF WATER SUPPLY FOR OVER HALF OF NYS. WE ARE IN ALLIANCE OF INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS WHO BELIEVE THAT SAFE, CLEAN AND AFFORDABLE DRINKING WATER IS A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT. THE MISSION WAS EXPANDED TO INCLUDE THE PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF ALL NYS WATERSHEDS IN 2013. ON OCTOBER 18,2013 THE NAME WAS CHANGED FROM CROTON WATERSHED CLEAN WATER COALITION, INC. ACCORDINGLY TO COMMUNITY WATERSHEDS CLEAN WATER COALITION, INC.
